With big dreams, are big needs.

It's Official! We are up and running. Crossing "t's" and dotting "i's" and acknowledging that we have a BIG elephant to feed. Above all, we know that God is in charge, and we willingly submit to HIM.

Lauren, Cathy and I just returned from a two-day educational trip to Thistle Farms in Nashville, TN. This organization is doing so much good and doing it right. Not only that, but they are incredibly supportive of other non-profits with a heart to serve women in need. Butterfly Farms has a big mission, and to see firsthand the many facets that make a similar endeavor successful was both encouraging and a tad overwhelming. Our mantra became, "They have been at it for over 25 years now." We pray to be an equal force at changing lives in 25 years. Right now, we work with what we have in our hands, and we work to steward it well. We start feeding that elephant one peanut at a time. We are grateful and moving forward.

That being said, we need your help as we kick off our mission. If you have the heart and means to help, you will soon be able to easily donate financially here on our site. In the meantime, you can help by gathering some of our much-needed items below. In the near future we will have donation boxes set up in area churches and businesses and will list those locations here on our website. Until then, we will gladly arrange to pick up donated items. While all good intentions are appreciated, we are asking for only new and gently used items for our women. Considering the hard and often traumatic journey that has brought them to Butterfly Farms, we are working to restore dignity to their lives, and household items and clothing in good shape or better will be most beneficial to them and our mission. Often, these women escape with little more than the clothes on their backs. So please, help us shower our guests with love.
