about us

In February of 2023, Lauren Bishop, our founder and CEO, was on a birthday trip in neighboring Tennessee with a group of girlfriends.  When some of their plans fell through, a new destination was brought to light in what others may call a chance encounter, but Lauren would soon understand to be a divine appointment.  That weekend brought Lauren and her friends to Thistle Farms, in Nashville, for brunch. This experience would change her life.  In recognizing the need in her own community for something similar, as well as knowing her own heart for service, Lauren answered God's call on her life and Butterfly Farms was born.

our mission
